Ana Grace Husted Announces Candidacy for Dripping Springs City Council, Place 2

Today, I am proud to announce my candidacy for Dripping Springs City Council, Place 2. My background in advocacy, government affairs, and community engagement has prepared me to serve our city at this critical moment. I’m ready to take on the challenges that come with growth—ensuring our infrastructure keeps pace, that local government operates transparently, and that development reflects the values of our residents. On City Council, I will work to restore trust by leading with energy, accountability, and a commitment to listening to our community.

I grew up in Texas with a deep appreciation for hard work, service, and integrity. Over the course of my career, I’ve worked to advance issues that affect families, businesses, and communities across our state. In my current role with a major statewide trade association, I’ve spent years at the Capitol building coalitions, navigating complex issues, and fighting for fairness and opportunity. Those experiences will serve me well as I work to deliver results for Dripping Springs.

Dripping Springs isn’t just where I live—it’s where I’ve built my life. Like so many of you, I want thoughtful planning for roads and utilities, a transparent and responsive local government, and a balanced approach to growth that honors both new families arriving and those who have called this community home for generations. This is not only about addressing today’s challenges, but also about shaping a future that serves the next generation.

I am running because I believe Dripping Springs is ready for a new voice—one that brings fresh energy, forward-thinking ideas, and a relentless focus on accountability.

Thank you to everyone who has already encouraged me to step forward. I’m excited to begin this campaign, connect with more of you in the weeks ahead, and work together to build a stronger Dripping Springs.
